Dr. Rooney has presented specialized prosthetic and restorative techniques to dentists, and presented techniques for prosthetic laboratory support to laboratory technicians. He has written about prosthetic techniques in Parkell News, the Keller Laboratory Technique News Letter.
Dr. Rooney is a life-long Kansas City resident. He is married with two children. He participates in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program, is involved with the Ozanam Home for Boys, and volunteers dental services for the Olathe School for the Deaf. He is a guitarist for church services. He is also active in soccer and karate, and enjoys snow sports.
